This policy is drafted in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revised FADP, in force since 1 September 2023) and, where applicable — for instance if you contact us from the European Union — the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What data we collect?

Depending on how you interact with our site, we may collect the following categories of data:

 

a) Data you provide directly - Name, email address, phone number, postal address (contact form, quote request or appointment request) - Details of your request (vehicle you are looking for, budget, trade-in vehicle, financing/leasing interest) - If you subscribe to our newsletter: your email address - Where relevant, in connection with the purchase, import or registration of a vehicle: a copy of your ID document, driving licence, proof of address, or other documents required for customs and registration formalities

 

b) Data collected automatically - IP address, browser type and version, device used, pages visited, time spent, referring site (standard browsing data collected via the site’s technical tools) - Cookies and similar technologies

Why do we use your data?

We process your personal data for the following purposes: i) Responding to your contact, quote, or test-drive requests, ii) Handling the sale, import, registration, and delivery of vehicles

Sending you our newsletter, if you are subscribed, iii) Managing the customer relationship and after-sales service, iv) Complying with our legal obligations (notably customs, tax, and anti-money-laundering requirements where applicable), v) Improving our website and services (traffic statistics), vi) Ensuring the security of our website and preventing fraud.

Who do we share your data with?

We never sell your personal data. We may, however, share it with: i) Our technical service providers, in particular Wix.com Ltd., which hosts our website and may have access to data submitted through forms or browsing data, in order to provide its services, ii) Our financing or leasing partners, only if you request a financing offer, iii) Swiss customs authorities (FOCBS) and cantonal road traffic offices, in connection with vehicle import and registration formalities, iv) Our legal, fiduciary advisors, or competent authorities, where required by law.

These recipients are only authorised to use your data for the stated purposes and are bound by confidentiality obligations.

Cookies and similar technologies

Our website uses cookies, in particular to:  i) ensure the website functions correctly (essential cookies); ii) measure traffic and improve your experience (statistics cookies); iii) where applicable, offer you relevant advertising content (marketing cookies, only with your consent).

On your first visit, a banner allows you to accept or decline non-essential cookies. You may change your preferences at any time via your browser settings or, if available, our site’s cookie management tool.

How long do we keep your data?

We retain your personal data: i) for as long as necessary to handle your request, then for 10 years for commercial follow-up purposes; ii) for the statutory retention period applicable to accounting, tax, and customs documents in the event of a vehicle purchase (generally 10 years in Switzerland).

After these periods, your data is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

In accordance with the revised FADP (and the GDPR where applicable), you have the following rights regarding your personal data: i) Right of access: obtain confirmation that your data is being processed and receive a copy of it, ii) Right of rectification: have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected, iii) Right to erasure: request deletion of your data, subject to legal limitations, iv) Right to object: object to a processing activity, in particular direct marketing, v) Right to restriction of processing, vi) Right to data portability, where applicable, vii) Right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
